Terms and Conditions
You agree to these terms and conditions when you purchase blinds from our website. Please take time to read the following paragraphs carefully. Your statutory rights are not affected by any of these terms and conditions.
The products
The goods we sell on our website are made to measure. Please note It is your responsibility to take the correct measurements of your window. If you are unsure about any products or how to measure, please call our customer services team for help before ordering or consult the online measuring guide. We cannot accept the return of made-to-measure goods on the basis that the measurements were incorrectly supplied by you. It is also possible that there may be a batch difference between the sample sent to you and the actual fabric used to manufacture your blinds.
The Pictures, instructions and videos found on our website are for illustration purposes only, colours/styles and patterns may differ.
Please understand that fabric is cut by professionals who will be as accurate as possible within a variance of +/- 5mm and 2mm for Perfect Fit. We will not replace/remake orders within our tolerance.
It is not always possible to avoid creasing from occurring during packing. All creasing should hang out within a maximum of 12 weeks if removed from its original packaging and hung within 7 days.
Order corrections
As all of our blinds are manufactured to your specific measurements, you agree that your custom-made order cannot be cancelled after it is placed. If an alteration to the original order needs to be made, it must be done so within one working day of placing your order with us. Past this time, no changes will be able to be made to the manufacture of your blinds. The order will be completed as specified, sent to your address and you will be charged the full amount.
Manufacturing Time and Delivery
Our expected manufacturing time is currently 10-15 working days and we will aim to dispatch your blinds within this time frame. By placing an order, you agree that this is an estimated time that is subject to change due to factors including stock levels, availability of fabric, components and the complexity of your order. Blindland cannot be held responsible for out of stock fabrics or components that are provided by our suppliers and may delay your order.
You must also note that we do not dispatch goods on Fridays and our next working day delivery does not include weekends or bank holidays. At the time of dispatch, we will email you the full tracking details of your delivery so that someone can be home if necessary. If we attempt delivery and no one is available to collect then a card may be left. We cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery once the goods have been dispatched.
Returns Policy
If you suspect that your goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect in any way upon delivery, please get in touch with us within seven days of receiving your order. At this stage, we reserve the right to inspect the goods in order to verify that the items have defects as claimed by you. If it does not appear to us that the goods you have returned are faulty, incorrect or damaged on delivery to you then our policy is to return the goods to your address. The reasonable cost of collection and delivery will be charged to you. If you do not accept the redelivery of these returned goods, we reserve the right to charge you for any consequential storage cost incurred by us.
If it appears to us that the goods returned to us are defective as claimed, we shall repair the items wherever possible and return these products to you free of charge. Alternatively, we will send replacement goods of similar quality and specification free of charge, or if neither option is possible then we may offer a full refund on the damaged goods. All these options are only available on the receipt and inspection of your returned goods. If you dispute our assessment on whether the goods were delivered in a faulty, incorrect or damaged state, the dispute will be referred to an independent company in the blind industry whose word will be final. Within this policy, it should be noted that a product made to inaccurate measurements supplied by you does not qualify our product to be “incorrect”. All returns must be in their original packaging. Any postage and packing charges will not be included in any refunds.
Provision
In the event that any provision of these terms and conditions might be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be excluded and will not not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions. This contract is subject to the law of England and Wales. All disputes arising out of this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Those who access the site from other locations are responsible for compliance with their local laws and taxes as applicable.
Any disputes not resolved by normal complaints procedure will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales under English Law.
